Important: An official method of unlocking the bootloader is not available, but there may be some unofficial methods available.
Unofficial methods are not recommended or supported by LineageOS, so use them at your own risk!
An unlocked bootloader is required to install LineageOS.

- Update to a newer build of the same LineageOS version
- Upgrade to a higher version of LineageOS (e.g. lineage-20 -> lineage-21)
Special boot modes
- Recovery: With the device powered off, hold Volume Up + Power. Keep holding both buttons until the word “FASTBOOT” appears on the screen, then select recovery mode by pressing volume button, press and hold the power button to reboot to recovery.
- Bootloader/Fastboot/Download: With the device powered off, hold Volume Up + Power. Keep holding both buttons until the word “FASTBOOT” appears on the screen, then release.
